The AI4TEACHERS: Rethinking Teaching and Learning in the Age of Artificial Intelligence project is an 18-month Erasmus+ KA210-SCH small-scale partnership that aims to strengthen AI literacy and digital readiness among primary school teachers, school leaders, and education decision-makers across Hungary, Greece, Cyprus, and Italy.
The project addresses the growing need for ethical, pedagogically sound integration of AI in school education by developing a comprehensive AI4TEACHERS MOOC with six thematic modules and a practical AI4TEACHERS Handbook offering ready-to-use, cross-curricular teaching materials.
Through blended professional development, including an international training activity (LTTA) in Cyprus and local pilot testing in classrooms, the project supports teachers in using AI as a supportive, creative, and engaging tool for learning, while also generating evidence to inform educational policy and promote sustainable digital transformation in primary education systems.
